Celebrating Community Banking
HOMETOWN BANKS GROW STRONGER COMMUNITIES
Bank of Commerce celebrates Community Banking month every April, not just because it's what we do, but because it is who we are. During this month we can recognize our local community banks for the positive influence in Carbon County. We are a small-town, neighborhood alternative to big banks. We invest in our local communities and promote relationship banking. Our bankers get to know our customers on a personal basis. Because we have an unwavering commitment to our consumers and small businesses, we help them achieve their financial goals to create prosperous communities. Our team does so much more than just banking; we spend our free-time doing things in and around our community to pay it forward such as; share money management skills to students in our schools, volunteer our time on boards and for community events that are important to us, and giving back to local non-profits with our Jeans Day Give Back, to name just a few. There is something special about tending to the communities where we put down roots; live, work and play.
So, what does it mean to be a "community bank?" Community banks engage in local decision-making. When a community bank makes financial decisions, we think about the impact we have on our community. Supporting local education, sports and music programs, county fairs, service clubs and non-profits, events, building projects, and more, community banks contribute financial support that delivers great opportunities for a better standard of living for our residents.
When you compare community banks to big banks, one important difference you will find is the relationship-focused promise that community banks like ours has. We know our customers by name, develop relationships, and care about their well-being. The personal service sets us apart from the rest. Bank local with us. We are here for you.
